Simon Trummer joins Rapax

Simon Trummer and Rapax have joined forces for 2013, the team have confirmed.
The 23-year-old Swiss driver will start his second GP2 season in 2013, as he will switch from the Arden team to Rapax. He scored only thrice in 2012, totalizing four points which led him to finish the season ranked 23rd. Prior to this, Trummer competed in two GP3 seasons, where he scored five times a total of thirteen points.
He commented: “Relying on the help of the team will be key in achieving the results I aim for. I’m more motivated than ever and I can’t wait to be on-track and start working with my new team. I want to thank all the people that helped me to land this ride. Being able to run a second season in GP2 is a chance that some drivers don’t get and I hope to reward the staff which support me with the best possible results.”
